Terms and Conditions
Here is an introduction to how to shop on wauw-design.dk and a review of the terms and conditions that apply to all users of our webshop. We hope you find it easy and straightforward to shop with us.
Here's how to shop at WAUW-design.dk
You can see our entire range of ceramics under the “shop”. If you find something you would like to buy, click on the item and then click on "add to basket". You can select "quantity" and put all the items in the basket you want.
If you want to see what you have in the basket, or if you want to go for payment, click on the "shopping cart" in the upper right corner. Here you can see the total price, change the quantity, remove an item or empty the basket completely.
When you want to pay, click on "go to checkout", enter your name, delivery address, phone number and email and click on "go to payment". Before paying, you must approve the order and accept our terms of trade by clicking "approve". Then follow the instructions in the payment window.
Your purchase is only registered once you have completed the payment and received an order confirmation from us.
WAUW design receives payment with Dankort / VISA-Dankort, Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron, Maestro, JCB Cards, American Express, Diners Club and MobilePay.
We will deduct the amount from your account when we ship the item. You will receive an email with your invoice when we have shipped the item.
Cancellation of order
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone +45 3221 9776.
Shipping / delivery
Your order will usually be shipped with Postnord or GLS. For large orders, we use a shipping company. Shipping costs vary depending on the size of the order - and whether you live in Denmark or abroad. Our minimum price for a shipment in Denmark is 49 DKK (Postnord Collect / GLS parcel shop). You can see the shipping cost in the shopping cart after you enter your address. Shipping costs are also reflected in your order confirmation.
Delivery in Denmark (except Greenland and the Faroe Islands): 49 DKK to the nearest parcel box. For purchases from DKK 1.000, there is free shipping in Denmark.
You can also pick up your package in the shop at Willemoesgade 13, 2100 KBH Ø. This is free and must be done within 1 week from the date of purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
Delivery within EU: 199 DKK.
(For the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden)
Delivery in the US, Canada, UK, Japan, Norway: 299 DKK.

We usually deliver within 3-5 business days. However, you should be aware that there may be longer delivery times on the goods you buy from us. Some items are order items that are only manufactured after we have received the order. You will receive an email regarding delivery time if we cannot deliver the item within a week. If you have ordered several items and there is a delivery time for individual items in your order, we wait for delivery to complete the order. We always ship your items together. All prices on wauw-design.dk are in Danish kroner DKK or EURO and are incl. 25% VAT. Please note that when you ship to countries outside the EU, there may be additional customs duties that you will have to pay yourself at the time of receipt. These costs are not reflected in your order confirmation.
If you regret your purchase or you are not satisfied with the item you have received, please contact us within 14 days at email@example.com. Then return the item to us within 14 days.
If you return an item, make sure the item is carefully packed - we recommend that you use the same packaging you received the item in. The item should be unused and returned in the same condition as you received it. Always attach a copy of the invoice so that we have all the necessary information.
Once we have received and verified the return item, we will refund the purchase price to your account. We do not refund the freight - it is only the price of the product itself that you will return.
Please note that we will always refund the amount to the same debit card used for the purchase. It may take a few days before you can see the amount on your account. Upon return, you have to pay the shipping costs yourself. Please note that we do not receive packages sent by mail. COD.

Alternatively, you can also come by the store within 14 days and return the item. The money is returned to the same debit card used for the purchase. It may take a few days before you can see the amount on your account.
For items purchased in the shop on Willemoesgade 13, money is not returned, but goods can be exchanged for a voucher / gift card / other item within 30 days from the date of purchase. Remember to bring the receipt.
Always check your items upon receipt. If you are not satisfied with the item you have received, please contact us within 14 days at firstname.lastname@example.org, so we can agree on whether the item should be repaired, exchanged or credited. This also applies if the item is defective or broken during transport.
In case of transport damage, we always ask for photo documentation. If the box has external damage, you must report it directly to the carrier / postman.
You have 2 years of warranty under Danish purchasing law. The right of complaint includes manufacturing and material defects which are found in normal use of the product.
The right of claim does not cover damage or wear that has occurred directly or indirectly as a result of improper use or maintenance. We do not guarantee against stains, discoloration, cracks and cuts - porcelain and stoneware are fragile materials that can be detrimental to hard handling.
Variety and colors
All WAUW design products are handmade at our Copenhagen workshop. We always strive for our ceramics to have high quality and beautiful finish. However, you should be aware that there may be variations in colors, sizes, and patterns in the glazed surfaces. These variations are not flaws, but a natural part of the handmade expression and production style we have chosen to work with. Also, be aware that the color shades you see in the webshop may be inaccurate. The color shades depend on the color scheme of your own computer and monitor.
When you shop at wauw-design.dk, your card information is encrypted with Secure Socket Layerden (SSL). This means that unauthorized persons cannot read your card number or other information during the transaction. The information you provide us will only be used in connection with your purchase on wauw-design.dk.
Limitation of Liability
WAUW design cannot guarantee that all items in the webshop will be in stock at the time you place your order. If an item is not available within the stated delivery time, we will contact you as soon as possible. mail or telephone.
We cannot guarantee that the content on wauw-design.dk is without inaccuracies, typos or that all information is completely up to date. We reserve the right to cancel an order if we find material errors, if the price is incorrect or if we are unable to deliver the ordered item in the requested quantity. If so, we will inform you via mail.
If it is not possible to contact you, your order will automatically be canceled.
WAUW design cannot be held responsible for delays or non-compliance with our obligations in connection with a delivery if the non-compliance is due to Force Majeure.
WAUW Design reserves the right to revise its terms and conditions on an ongoing basis. As a user, you are responsible for keeping up to date with any changes.
